Road Directions

Access from the main A69 route between Newcastle and Carlisle. Take the access road B6318 for Greenhead. Turn right signposted Chollerford 18 mile. As you rise out of Greenhead follow the signs for The Roman Army Museum which is first left at the top of the hill. Walltown Lodge is directly opposite The Roman Army Museum car park.

Bus route AD122 Hadrian’s Wall bus which follows the route of Hadrian’s Wall between Newcastle and Carlisle stops at our door at The Roman Army Museum, this bus takes the scenic route.
